The light itself is reasonably bright — decidedly too bright to be a nightlight but too dim to light a full room to a reading-a-book level. Mine included a bulb in the Moon and a spare which was nice as I imagine getting a similar bulb when it burns out would be very challenging.
This moonlight is absolutely perfect! When lit it looks exactly like the Moon. It does come with two light bulbs… Installation was extremely easy. Couldn't be more happy with this product. It works so well for our boys room.
I bought this for my son's nursery and it's a great little addition. I like how there are multiple light settings and the cord is very long. I was worried it might look cheap, but it actually had a nice texture to it resembling the moon making it more realistic.
The hole was a bit too small for the Hue bulb I wanted to put in there, but sanding down a bit of the plastic from the print allowed the bulb to go in just fine… Aside from that, it's pretty decent construction, a quality 3D printed piece.
Sturdy plastic cover. Light weight. Comes with extra/spare LED bulb. E26 base light bulb socket. On and off light switch (no dimmer). Temperature/color changes every time you turn it on and off. It's bright — a little brighter to be used for the night light and not enough to be used for the regular lighting… I knew the price before I made a purchase so I can't complain much but the product is a bit pricey for the quality.
The way this light is set up, every time you switch the light on and off it turns it to the next of the three different warmth/light settings, so I can't just have it set on soft warm light… Also the cord shows to me as white in the photos but it's clear in person. Not as good a look. Bad value, bad design.
